Lily
All of me aches. And my hands are so sore.
I was on Lily at riding tonight. She's mental!! She looks like the kind of pony you'd need to kick on a bit. I thought i was gonna snap the reins cos i was pulling back so hard.
Angela told me at the end that, apparently, chestnut mares a tendency to be very bossy and will fight for leadership. It was a battle from beginning to end.
We were just doing a double in the lesson, to make sure we could measure the right kind of stride in between. The last time we did it, the first one was a little upright, and the second was a small spread. I wasn't expecting her to go over that jump quite like she did, so my hat fell over my eyes on landing. So i was jumping blind then. I was terrified. All that was going through my head at the time was "OMG! I'M GONNA DIE!!" I could only see the second jump as i was going over it. As soon as it was safe to take my hands off the reins, i pushed my hat back so i could see where i was going, and so that i could stop before i hit the christmas tree.
I've got so much practice to do tomorrow.
Better get to bed so i can stay awake while i do it XD
