Guess what?
My throat infection has returned!! Now on the other side. So i have two weeks of penicillin to get through and a swab has been sent off to the labs for further testing.
It wasn't too bad this morning, sure it hurt to swallow and i felt about as great as a dead hedgehog...but my throat didn't hurt quite as much as last time. But mum took me to the open surgery down the road, on the way i got pissed off at the lollipop man for being so happy. I got booked in for an appointment later that morning, so we walked back home. The lollipop man was going on at me for not smiling, i went to walk on, he dragged me back by my wrist and started telling me to smile and be happy. I glared at him for a while until mum told him i was "feeling rotten" and he finally let go.
Fucking pedo.
I gave him a final filthy look and slouched off down the road. I didn't know whether i wanted to laugh or cry.
I slept for a bit before we left to go back for my appointment....well...i didn't really sleep, but i kept drifting off slightly as i lay on the sofa. The lollipop man had finished his shift when we set off, so that made me slightly happier. Dr Black (my gp) told me it was most likely a throat infection, but as i said before, she sent off a swab to the labs.
We went to Boots to get my prescription, and mum bought me a big bar of Galaxy to make me feel better ^_^ Mum went to the Costume Hire and i watched 27 Dresses before sleeping for about four hours.
I think Levvy phoned me later in the afternoon..probably to ask why i wasn't at orchestra. I would have answered my phone and told him, but i either left it too late or pressed the wrong button. It did wake me up though, and it took me a while to figure out where the sound of You Belong To Me was coming from. So if i go in tomorrow then i'll tell him in person. I did think he would've found out from college that i wasn't in, but then remembered that i don't have music on wednesdays, so he probably wasn't told. But it was a nice thought of him to phone and see where i was....if it was him. If it wasn't, then i just have a random house number on my phone.
anyway...enough of me moaning for one evening.
