Devour!
I went to see Disturbed with Jay and David last night.
IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!!
I'm gonna make a video about it soon-ish and i think jay's gonna make one as well. Most of what i filmed was songs. I took a few pics during the gig as well. Then made a video on the bus back to the station where Jay and David were getting the latest train back to york.
The support act was called Shine Down and it was their first time playing in manchester, and they was amazing! I'm gonna look for more of their songs and albums.
There was this one point in one of their songs when the front man told everyone to put their lighters/phones in the air. It looked so pretty! I was so sure i'd made a video of it, but i looked through them this morning, and it wasn't there.....it wasn't on my phone either. I was so gutted!
But i was hurting so much afterwards. We managed to walk to the bus stop, but when we got there, we all slumped down against the shelter walls. I was half lying across Jay's knee with my feet resting on David's feet. The bus took forever to arrive and while we were waiting, we watched the rest of the people from the gig wandering down the road on either side.
Bear in mind, us three only just managed to walk to the bus stop without collapsing.....there were people legging it down the road! We were talking about how crazy they were when the bus finally arrived.
I met my mum at the station. And i wanted to wait and wave off Jay and David, but mum said we had to rush back to the tram stop to get the last tram. So Jay and David walked us to the door, i kissed Jay goodbye and went off into the night.
