Its the end of my second day in Wales....well third if you count the day we got here. We went to two mines today: a Copper one and a Slate one.
Well, the slate one was actually a museum, but there was a guy who was showing us splitting slates, which was amazing. The copper mine was just one where you take yourself round, which i prefer over a guided tour tbh.
I bought two rings, a little bottle of fool's gold and a stick of rock (i'm gonna try and buy one from every place we visit).
Can't believe i've actually got internet here!! We're staying in this holiday cottage (within a group of about 5 others), in the middle of nowhere. With just the main owner's house a few yards beyond us. I didn't think i'd be able to pick up any internet signals, let alone a unsecured one. But it does come at a cost.....it only works in a certain position in my bedroom, which involves my laptop being on a bedside table, on my bed. Then me sitting on the floor (on a few pillows) trying to reach the keys. But it's free! So i can't really complain.
Now its exactly 20 minutes after i started this entry...so i'm gonna go and chat to Bayes and Rob and James for a bit more before i mooch off to bedland.
